ESTABLISHMENT:

The Association for Accreditation of Dental Education Programs, as known as AEADEP , started its activities with the members of the Accreditation Sub-Committee, which was formed by the majority of votes at the 15th Ordinary Meeting of the Council of Deans of Dentistry (CDD) held in May, 2017. Meetings were held at regular intervals by the members of the Accreditation Sub-Committee and the necessary infrastructure and bylaws were drafted for the establishment. Following the application made to the Istanbul Governorship Provincial Directorate of Associations on May 23, 2018, the Association initiated its activities with the Registry Number 34-243-197.

AEADEP held its first General Assembly on July 14,  2018 in accordance with the 12th provision of the Associations Regulation titled "First General Assembly Meeting".

In the General Assembly, the principal and alternate members of the Board of Directors and Supervisors were elected and the general assembly approval was received for the bylaws prepared.

REGISTRATION:

AADEP was registered by the Higher Education Quality Board (HEQB) on March 11, 2020 for 2 years.
