INTERNATIONAL APPLICATIONS FOR ACCREDITATION OUTSIDE TURKEY
DEPAD accepts applications for the accreditation of undergraduate dental education programs outside of Turkey.
Requirements for Application
1.Applications are made to the DEPAD Secretariat between January 1 and February 15 of each year.
2. The applying institution must have completed its entire education on its own campus, graduated at least one class, and currently continue to provide education.
3. The accreditation application is made by filling out the “Application Form” available on DEPAD’s website. The electronically filled form is accepted for the application; however, the original application document with signature and stamp should be scanned and sent to the DEPAD Secretariat at the same time.
4. Applications are formally evaluated at the first accreditation board meeting and presented to the Board. Institutions whose applications are accepted by the Board are provided with the timeline and documents related to the process. Institutions whose applications are rejected are informed of the decision with justification.
5. Institutions with accepted applications must deposit half of the application fee specified for the relevant year into the DEPAD account within 30 days of receiving the acceptance letter. Institutions that do not deposit the application fee within the time frame are considered to have withdrawn their application. The second half of the fee is deposited into the DEPAD account simultaneously with the submission of the Self Evaluation Report.
The fee for the 2025 accreditation application is 25,000 USD. The account informaton for the deposit in USD is below:

6. Institutions whose accreditation applications are accepted are in candidate status for accreditation. This candidate status lasts a maximum of three years from the application date, excluding a one-year suspension period accepted by DEPAD Board. Programs that cannot achieve full or conditional accreditation within this period must reapply in accordance with current standards.
